Wild Boor Ideas is a performing arts organisation that provides puppetry and theatre experiences for under fives and puppet shows and puppet making sessions for five to eight year olds. We are conscientious in maintaining and protecting the privacy of individuals in contact with us and this privacy notice details all the ways we use personal data. Mailing List

We use online provider Mailchimp to send email and newsletters. Our mailing list is uploaded and stored on the Mailchimp servers in the USA, which comply with the Privacy Shield framework and can lawfully receive UK data. We collect the email addresses of those interested in hearing from us about our any or all of the following: performances, projects, workshops, merchandise and general news about the company. We ask your specific permission for us to send you this information in advance. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time. As the contact details we hold for the mailing list is email only, we do not intend to carry out any profiling activity. The data is used for regular mailouts only. There is no obligation to give your contact details directly to Wild Boor Ideas in order to book tickets for workshops or performances. If you are purchasing merchandise from us, we will need to collect address and payment details in order to complete the transaction. These details will be held on the personal computer of Emma Boor for no longer than seven years as required by law. This computer is password protected and regularly updates protection software against malicious use by a third party. We will update mailing permission status every two years by contacting members of our mailing list to confirm and update their contact preferences. We do not actively or intentionally collect data from anyone under 18 years of age. The Data Controller for Wild Boor Ideas is Emma Boor. Only members of our organisation and those employed by us have access to your data which we use only in the goal of promoting our activities and projects as highlighted above. We do not share personal data with any third party unless required to do so by law. You can request to see any data held about you by the company and we are legally obliged to send you a full and complete report showing all we have. We will endeavour to send this report as soon as possible after the request.
